Surrounded by his family, Paul N. Hansen passed peacefully on December 10, 2022 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death his sweetheart, Linda Ripplinger, whom he married August 31, 1972. Later, on September 21, 1973 they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS temple.
Paul was born in Logan to Floretta Naylor and William Dean Hansen on November 4, 1942. Paul was a longtime employee for Logan City where he worked in the Water Department until he retired. He then worked for Albertsons which he liked, as he was a friendly social being. He always loved visiting family and friends. He had an ability to make friends wherever he went. This ability, in addition to knowing so many Cache Valley residents, often drove his wife nuts when she sent him on what was supposed to be a quick grocery run, because more often than not, it would often turn into an hours long stint. He was a dedicated husband and father. He is survived by his children Darsie (Shon) Vella, who he adopted after marrying Linda as well as 5 other children they had together. Son’s Brad (Elizabeth), David (Katie), Matt (Caroline), and two daughter’s Lisa and Angela, seventeen grandkids, fourteen great-grandkids, as well ten step great-grandkids.
After surviving an ATV accident 2007, which would later become a contributing factor to his cognitive decline, he also battled other significant health concerns. His loving family helped out when and wherever possible, but none were as dedicated to serving him as his two daughters, Lisa and Angela. We will all miss him but, draw comfort in the fact that his is now reunited with his sweetheart, Mother, Father and brothers.
