Paul Trolson

Thomas Paul Trolson, 55, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray following a heart attack. Tom was born February 3, 1957 to Keith and Marie Bradshaw Trolson in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Debbie A. Maurer on June 16, 1979 and they had two sons.

Tom graduated from Logan High School. He worked for Bucyrus Erie in Pocatello as a welder, the Wurlitzer Company as a piano finish wood patcher, Cache Valley Builders, and then Vulcraft in Brigham City for the last 28 years as a certified welding inspector. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tom was a perfectionist and took pride in everything he did, whether it was on his job or in his home. He enjoyed doing remodeling projects in his home and always had a project in the works. He also enjoyed working on and riding his Harley. He had a lot of fun on his recent trip to Europe with his wife and had looked forward to another trip this fall. Tom had a big heart, a sarcastic sense of humor, often times said just what he thought, and always enjoyed meeting new people. He was very proud of his wife and two sons and loved them very much, and he loved his dog, Oscar. He is loved very much and he will always be a part of us.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his sons; Jared (Jasmine) and David, his grandchildren; Tristan, Alyvia, and Payton, his sisters; Kathy (Matt) Anderson, Cindy (Kelly) Lauritzen, Lori (Conell) Olsen, and Lynn (Bill) Bauer, his brothers; Robert (Barbara) Trolson, and Jeff Trolson, and his step-father; John Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael K. Trolson.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan. Friends and family may call at the mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 and from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net .
