Pauline Smith Christiansen Hall, Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2014 of natural causes. She was greeted with open arms by her dearly missed husband Floyd of over 31 years. Pauline was born June 18, 1921 in Pocatello, Idaho to Paul and Verna Skousen Smith. She grew up with 3 brothers and 5 sisters in Salt Lake City, graduating from West High School. She and Floyd enjoyed the adventure of raising their three boisterous boys and daughter in Hyrum. She worked many years as a child advocate, helping raise disadvantaged children. She also worked for Wurlitzer Piano Factory. Her home was always open to everyone. Most of all she loved her family, and enjoyed laughing with them and just being together. She was a wonderful cook and loved to sew and make quilts for those she treasured. In 1989 Pauline met and married Harold Hall of Provo, Utah. They loved traveling and visiting with family and friends, until his passing in 2004. Pauline was a wonderfully enthusiastic dancer and danced up until she was 90.
