Peggy Ann (Jensen) Jenson died unexpectedly on Monday, February 5th. in Logan, Utah. She was born on June 11, 1951, to Ronald Ladle Jensen and Shirley Maughan Leishman Jensen. She was the oldest of six children. Surviving are siblings Dennis Jay (Sheila) Jensen, Susanne (Mark) Moore, Gordon Lyn Jensen, Kaylene (Burke) Pitcher and Craig Ronald Jensen.
After being told “she is the one,” Douglas Max Jenson proposed to, and married Peggy Ann on December 9, 1970, in the Logan LDS Temple for time and all eternity.
Doug and Peggy were married for 55 years. During their marriage they were blessed with four children: Diana Johnson, (Kevin D.), Curtis Douglas Jenson, Brian Milford Jenson and Cherlyn Jenson.
Their seven grandchildren Saesha (Austin) Flippence, Sierrah (Tanner E.) Davis, Shylee Dursteler, Tristen (Kaylee) Cooper, Austin (Aubrie B.) Cooper, Kodie Cooper and Kambree Jenson. They were the light and laughter of their grandparent’s lives. At least they were until their five great grandchildren arrived.
Peggy’s life was enhanced when they arrived. First came Charlie Joel, then came Adalyn Josie, Kyler Joseph, Raelyn Mel and Zhenley D.
Peggy worked at several locations throughout her life and made several friends along the way. She enjoyed cooking and had an exceptional time preparing new menus for people to enjoy.
She was known for her quilting, cross-stitching, and dish towel making. Peggy spent hours creating beautiful items for others to enjoy. She traveled to other locations to sell her stunning craft work.
Peggy was raised in a family where sports were enjoyed, and she brought that with her in her new family. She would tune in for each Jazz and Aggie game; making sure to turn on both the TV and radio to catch the score.
Prior to the funeral on February 12th at 12 Noon a viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:30 am at the College Young Ward Church, 2200 S 2394 W. Burial will be at the Providence Cemetery. Arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary. www.allenmortuaries.com
