Peggy Lynn Cooper Lindquist

Peggy Lynn Cooper Lindquist died Wednesday September 29, 2010 at the Sunshine Terrace in Logan UT. She was born August 6, 1944 in Logan, Utah to Colin and Amy Cooper. She was raised on the family farm in Wellsville and loved spending time outdoors with her father. She graduated from South Cache High School. On October 26, 1962 she married Larry Lindquist. They spent their life together in Logan and enjoyed many relaxing weekend trips to Wendover. Her support and help in building the family business, Lindquist Auto, was invaluable and she was well known for the delicious Christmas goody baskets she made for the customers.

Peggy had a rowdy, infectious laugh that made her the life of any party. She will be remembered for her glorious yard and gardens, delicious cooking and canning, beautiful (and continually re-decorated) home, and strong work ethic. Peggy was so generous with her time and talents. She filled her life with frequent acts of service to family, friends and neighbors. She adored her children and grandchildren and spent many hours enjoying their company prior to her illness.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Shane (Sue) of Hyrum, Shelly Morris of Amalga; five grandchildren: Jessica(Miles) Archuleta, Hunter Lindquist, Brittany Lindquist, Kyler Morris, Scout Morris; great-grandson, Isaac Archuleta; brother Gary (Joan) Cooper of Providence; sisters Colene Lindley of Amalga, Annette (Howard) Nielsen of Pleasant View; in-laws, David and Linda Griffith of Pleasant View; numerous nieces and nephews and many valued friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister LaWana Sorensen; and beloved son-in-law John Morris.
The Lindquist family would like to express their gratitude to all the family, friends, and caregivers who helped Peggy throughout her illness.
