Phala Chhouk

Logan-Phala Chhouk, was 60 years old when he took his last breath surrounded by loved ones, April 18, 2011. Born February 17, 1951 in Kampong Cham, Cambodia to Hak Chhouk and Tann Klork. Phala immigrated to the U.S. in 1975, here he would meet his beautiful wife Sokun Chau, reunite with long lost friends and become the father of 4 children.

Phala lived his life with no regrets, he was the life of the party and always known to be the reliable helping hand. His joyous life was surrounded by friendship, family and most of all love. His kindness and unselfish acts will not be forgotten. It is his memory that his spirit lives on through the lives of those the touched. He was a man with very strong family convictions and his greatest accomplishments are those he left behind and the impact his life had on those who surrounded him. His kind soul, gentle heart, the joy he spread to others and his contagious laugh will long be remembered.

He is survived by this wife, Sokun, his sons, Daroth and Bayon and his daughters Phally and Bophar, and his five grandchildren, Taliya, Vannarith, Cayden, Henry and Harold.

Loving father, strong husband and fierce and loyal friend…Phala, we will always remember.

Funeral services are pending for Saturday with a viewing on Friday evening at Allen Mortuary of North Logan, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan. Services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary, Logan. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
