Philip John Angeli (54) of Logan, Utah, passed away May 14th, 2023. Philip, who usually went by Phil, was born August 23rd, 1968, in California to Ruth and Paul Angeli. He was the youngest of 2 children. He has one older brother, Michael, and one older step-brother, Jim, who also reside in Utah. Phil was known for a variety of wonderful attributes including his great sense of humor, passion for football and the New Orleans Saints, an infectious smile, and his love for Italian food. Above all, he was known for being an amazing, caring, and loving father. He is survived by his four children: Thomas, Bo, Megan, and Jade.
Though Phil’s health presented many obstacles during his lifetime, he displayed resiliency by maintaining a unique sense of humor. His ability to make someone smile despite his own tribulations was admirable to say the least. He will be sorely missed. His love for his family will live on through his children, mother, and siblings.
Phil’s family will be hosting a celebration of life service at Monroe Park, 820-878 30th St., Ogden, Utah, May 20th, 2023, at 2:30 pm. All who knew Phil are welcome to join. In lieu of flowers, attendees are encouraged to donate to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or similar non-profit organization.
