LOGAN — Phyllis Wiser Anderson, 91, died on her birthday, May 15, 2015, in Holladay, Utah. She was born May 15, 1924, in North Logan, Utah, the daughter of Lorin and Eliza Wiser.
She graduated from North Cache High School and attended Utah State. She married Earl Raymond Anderson on March 9, 1945, in the Logan LDS Temple. They welcomed two sons (Brent and Bruce) and one daughter (Joyce). Phyllis worked many years for the Karren Oil Company. She loved her family, many friends and going out to eat. She will be missed by all of us.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Raymond Anderson; her son, Brent Wiser Anderson; and two grandsons. She is survived by a daughter-in- law, Nancy Anderson; a son, Bruce and Sally Anderson; a daughter, Joyce and Kent Miner; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The family wished to thank all the people who lovingly took care of her in Logan, Emcompass Home Health and The Cottonwood Place.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, in the Logan LDS 16th Ward building, 600 N. 100 West. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared online at
