Phyllis McDowell

Phyllis Lee Moyes McDowell peacefully graduated from this mortal life on Monday morning, September 30, 2024 at age 85. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl McDowell, Jr., her brothers Bob and Norman, and her parents, Maurice and June Moyes. She leaves behind her daughter, Rachel (Gary); 6 grandchildren: Tyler (Kathryn), Joseph, Emily (Jake), Benjamin (Liz), Sarah, Bethany (Chase); 5 adorable great grandchildren; and her siblings, Wanda, Phillip, Becky, and Nathan.

“Gram” was an educator at heart and took advantage of every opportunity to teach. She loved the Lord, her family, and books! Her body gave her fits for the last few years of her life and she must be so thrilled to finally be free of the impediments of mortality!

There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at 11:00am .
