Rallin Andersen was called home to greener pastures on May 30, 2023. On February 26, 1946 he was born in the loving hands of Loran and Ida Andersen in Logan Utah. He was the second of 3 children (Coylene Martin and Donna Cook).
After graduating from South Cache High School in 1964 he then attended Salt Lake Community College and graduated there with a welding degree. Shortly after graduating from welding school he was then drafted into the Army and spent 2 years serving in Germany.
While on leave from the Army he came home and was introduced to Jean Watterson. After returning from Germany from his service he then married Jean a year later on November 1, 1968. In 1975, they welcomed their first child (Jess Andersen) and then two years later welcomed their daughter Jamie Andersen (Bartschi).
Rallin had a passion for welding, farming, ranching, horses, machinery, and anything in between. After a long suffering battle with Scleroderma and Raynaud’s he returned home to his Heavenly Home.
Rallin is survived by his wife Jean; children Jess (Andilee) of Logan, Utah, Jamie (Mikelshan) Bartschi of Hyrum, Utah. His sister Donna Cook; 6 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Rallin is proceeded in death by his parents, and sister Coylene.
In lieu of flowers, Rallin would have wanted you to take your family to Angie’s restaurant and have a memorable meal.
Funeral services will be held Monday June 5 at 11:00am at Allen-Hall Mortuary; 34 East Center Street Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:45. An additional viewing will be held on Sunday, June 4 from 6:00-8:00pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary. Interment will be at Hyrum Cemetery.
