Ralph Joseph Couch, 67, passed away June 30, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was born March 5, 1951 in Artesia, California, the son of Joseph and Eldora Couch. He attended Logan City schools, and graduated from Logan High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Utah State University in accounting. Ralph married Janice Sedgwick and they are the parents of five children.
Ralph worked at Moore Business Forms and then at Central Valley Machine until his retirement. Ralph enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, following the Aggies, and doing yard work, but was the happiest when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was a fun grandpa with a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing the grandkids and telling them funny stories. Ralph was a hard worker and taught honesty, generosity, and responsibility by example. Any assignment given to him was done with exactness and care. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as a dedicated and faithful home teacher.
Ralph is survived by his wife; Janice, and five children: Nathan (Susannah), Adam, Sara (Darron) Kelley, Maren (Brandon) Corbett, and Jackson (Eliza); 17 grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Schen. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Erin Christine.
In lieu of flowers, please take your family out to dinner some Friday night, or donate to the LDS Humanitarian Fund or the charity of your choice. Funeral services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 7, 2018 at the Logan Central Stake Center, 1255 North 600 East, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the Logan City Cemetery.
