Ray Crockett

Ray Crockett passed away peacefully at his home on June 1, 2006. Ray was born May 8, 1919 in Treasureton, Idaho to Mary Ann and Willliam George Crockett. He was raised in Smithfield and educated in the Cache County Schools. On December 24, 1945, he married Faye James. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.
Ray served in the Army and worked construction. Later he worked for Logan City Street Department for many years. He was an avid horseman and loved doing yard work.
Ray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Faye, a son Larry Crockett, and daughters Linda Daniels, Dianne Crockett, and Judy Crockett. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, a brother, Dee Crockett (Renee) and a sister, Wilma (Farrell) Winter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Norman and Elden, and a son-in-law, Arthur Daniels.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday June 5,2006 at the Logan 12th Ward LDS Chapel, 940 W Threepoint Ave, Logan. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center, Logan, and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 :30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be extended to the family by going to www.allenmortuaries.net .
