MENDON, UTAH — Raymond Guiver Altop, 92, of Mendon, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at his home.
He was born April 30, 1922, in Sacramento, California, a son of Ray and Ruby Matilda Guiver Altop. He married Zanona Rose Denny on June 3, 1946, in Salt Lake City.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the United States Army from 1942 - 1945. He has lived in Mendon, Sacra- mento, South Lake Tahoe, California, Hayden Lake, Idaho.
He is survived by a son, Regi Altop of Polebridge, Montana; a daughter, Reta Altop of Costa Mesa, Cali- fornia, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zanona, and a son, Craig Altop.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, in the Mendon Cemetery with Military Honors. There will be a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Allen- Hall Mortuary in Logan. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
