Red had an uncanny ability to work mechanically and found enjoyment working with his hands as a mechanic/carpenter throughout his life. It was often said of him, that he could fix anything.
Red made it clear that he had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and always counted himself honored to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sealed in the Logan Temple to his beloved Mary on May 31st, 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Violet, and his sister, Thera Gardner. He is survived by his wife, Viviana, his brothers Jesse and John, and sisters, Connie and Georgia. He is also survived by his four children; Roger Shepherd (Ximena), David Shepherd (Josie), Sam Jeppson (David), Ginger Brakke. He was the delightful “old man” to 14 grandchildren
His children have wonderful memories of him and will miss him greatly! (We Love you Dad!)
