LOGAN, UTAH: Regina Petersen Mathews, 73, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in the Sunshine Terrace.

She was born September 14, 1933 in Logan, Utah a daughter of Collos and Gladys Nielson Petersen.. She attended and graduated from South Cache High in Hyrum. Regina married Melburn Kay Mathews on December 4, 1988. She worked at the Deseret Industries, Williamsburg, Logan Knitting Mill and the Bluebird. Regina was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she had served in the primary and as a visiting teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Melburn, a sister, Nadine Cunningham and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 11:00 in the Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
