Rheo O’Connor, one week shy of 101 passed away September 26, 2013 from incidents related to age. She lived at the Williamsburg Retirement Community for 12 ½ years. Born October 4, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ross Cleveland Davis and Zoan Eddavene Houtz, she married James Patrick O’Connor June 25, 1937 in San Gabriel, California. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she has been involved in 4-H, PTA, and community activities wherever she has lived.
Rheo is an accomplished artist and enjoyed singing, making things grow, square dancing, watching sporting events, and having the missionaries to dinner. She was a great seamstress and enjoyed many travels abroad and especially looked forward to a good dance and party. Our family is grateful for those who cared for her at the Williamsburg Retirement Community and her Access nurse Bonnie and aides for making her comfortable these last months.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherryl (Allen) Fox, Hyrum, UT; son, Robert O’Connor(Lynn) of Springfield, Oregon; daughter-in law, Arlene O’Connor of Escondido, California; 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James and son James Rhio O’Connor.

Graveside services will be held October 2, 2013 at Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood, California.
