Rian Brent Yeates

October 12, 1975 — August 29, 2006

Our cherished and very much loved son Rian, departed from this earth on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006.
Rian was his mother's early birthday gift. He was born to Brent and Vicky Bassett Yeates on October 12,
1975.
His early school years were spent in Logan. After moving to N. Logan at age 8, he completed his education in the Cache County Schools. Rian graduated from Cache High in 1995. A special thanks to Joel Allred for his guiding efforts and personal interest in Rian.
Rian spent 17 happy years working at their family business, Logan Auto Parts. He appreciated and enjoyed the hours helping his customers with his vast knowledge of auto parts. It was during these years that a special bond of friendship, admiration, and respect developed and grew for his older brother Bret.
Upon Bret’s untimely death in 1994, Rian's life changed and was never quite the same again. His spirit was broken and seemed never to come back in spite of his countless hours of trying. You fought the fight everyday Rian, and we love you so much for trying in whatever ways you knew. Thanks for the lessons you taught us.
He had a tender love for animals and leaves behind his special buddy "Bailey." He enjoyed being with friends. One of his favorite things to do in his early teen years was driving around in his pickup trucks and working on them. Rian loved to read. Books became one of his best friends and he never forgot what he read. He was a member ofthe L.D.S. Church.
Rian is survived by his father and mother of N. Logan; his grandmother Barbara Yeates of Logan; Norman and Cleta Bassett of Smithfield; and a great-great grandmother Edna Bassett of Providence. He was preceeded in death by his Gramp, Lue Yeates; and his two brothers Bret and Brandon.
Thank you Gram Yeates for always being there any time of the day or night and unconditionally for Rian. You helped him through the ups and downs with love in your heart for him. May your blessings be bounteous. He loves you dearly!
Rian, we miss you so much already and love you forever. Thanks to Rian's friends - You know who you
are.
