Richard Carl Hansen

Richard Carl Hansen 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 14,2006. A wonderful gift we are sure his mom enjoyed on Mother's Day.
He was born on March 31, 1937 to William D. and Floretta Naylor Hansen of Logan Utah. He attended Logan City Schools and was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
Through his life he was a hard worker. He grew up in a large family and learned the value of a good day's work from his parents. He was a lover of the great outdoors and was happiest spending his day out on the tractor. Richard worked as a rancher in California and Nevada. The last 25 years or so he spent working in Lewiston, Utah for the Wheeler family. He had a big heart and enjoyed helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers William D. Jr., and George Lamar Hansen.
He is survuved by two brothers, Paul (Linda) Jansen of Logan; and Brent Hansen of North Logan; and two sisters, Lee Ann (Brent) Olson of Logan; and Carol (Duaine) Boehme of Lewiston. Richard was married and later divorced. He has two children, a son, Richard Jr. (Ricky) and daughter, Tawana Lee. We believe he has gone on to plow another field on his tractor. Happy Trails.
Graveside services will be held at 12 PM on Friday, May 19, 2006 in the Logan City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary prior to services from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
