Rick Lee Bachmann, age 70, of Paradise, Utah, passed away on December 29, 2024. He was born on January 17, 1954, in Fremont, Nebraska, and spent his life surrounded by family, love, and a passion for adventure.
Rick was married to his beloved wife, Dalea Bachmann, for 40 years, creating a life filled with memories, laughter, and a deep bond. Together, they raised their only child, Jake Bachmann, while Rick’s previous marriages brought him three other children: Jesse Bachmann, Jamie Bachmann, and Trisha Gibbs. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. He was thrilled to watch them grow, especially as they pursued sports—a passion that Rick shared. He was always eager to help them improve and offered unwavering support in all their endeavors.
Rick was a proud Vietnam War veteran, and his respect for the American flag remained unwavering throughout his life. He always held to the highest standards of flag etiquette. His love for the outdoors was evident in everything he did. Whether riding his motorcycle—be it a bagger or a new Harley Davidson—or embarking on hunting trips, Rick enjoyed every moment in the wilderness. An avid hunter, he cherished his time on the mountain, often accompanied by his horses and his loyal Great Pyrenees dog.
Rick is also survived by his sibling, Deb Bachmann, and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held at the Paradise City Cemetery on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where Rick will be laid to rest with full honors.
