Robert Paul Lemon was born at his home in Paradise, Utah to Myrtle Lenora Larsen and Charles Lewis Lemon. He lived in Paradise then moved to Conner Springs, Utah where he worked on the Bar B Ranch, then back to Paradise and left school to Hod Tend in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent three years there and then came back to the valley and worked at White's Trout Farm. Paul went to night school and earned his diploma. He also earned his diploma in welding/fabrication from Utah State. Paul then went to work at L.M.C until it closed down. Peterson's in Ogden offered him employment and He worked there until his health forced him to retire.
He met and married Carolyn Cornia in 1963. Paul cared for her for several years until she passed away in March of 2016. Paul then met Marie Hancock Frederickson in October of 2022 and fell in love. The married on February 23, 2023. Shortly after Paul was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and passed away on May 19, 2023.
Paul broke and trained horses and traveled around the U.S. on his motorcycle with a group of friends and later gave his motorcycle up for a Polaris Razor. Paul always believed in treating people the way he would want to be treated. Heaven has surely gained an angel.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by the love of his life, Marie. Brothers Ron (Gayle) of Providence; Boyd of Hyrum; and Gary (Ramona) of Hyrum. As well as two children and four grand children and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held June 3, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints LDS chapel in Newton, Utah. Interment will follow at the Paradise Cemetery.
