Robert Lloyd Hansen

Robert L. Hansen, 82 passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at his home in Logan.

Bob was born Oct. 8, 1926, to Abraham and Agnes Petersen Hansen, at their home in College Ward, Utah. Bob was the 16th of 17 children.

Bob graduated from South Cache High School in 1944. He earned his living as an accoustical carpenter. He worked hard throughout his life to support his family.

Bob was married to Bonnie Glee Allen on Oct. 11, 1944. She passed away Jan. 12, 1945. He then married Elizabeth Christofferson with whom he had 5 children. They were later divorced. He has been married to his current wife, Linda Lou Chambers, since Aug. 30, 1963.

Bob was a High Priest in the LDS church. He was a quiet, gentle, giant of a man who loved his wife and family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Linda, and children: Betty Glee Slather of Amalga; Marie (Allan) Parks of No. Logan; Jeff (Michelle) Hansen of Logan; RosaLee Park of Chubbuck, Id.; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother, Bill Hansen of Logan; and a sister, Rhoda Duce of California.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 13 of his 16 brothers and sisters; a son, Robert Jack Hansen; and a grandson, Stuart Lloyd Hansen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at the Willow Valley Chapel, 825 No. 200 West, Logan. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St., Logan, Utah and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Willow Valley Chapel.
