Rolland Joseph Weiser, 62, after a short battle with a brain tumor, returned peacefully to his Heavenly Father, July 19, 2018. He was born Jan. 14, 1956 to Kathleen and Paul Weiser in Pocatello, Idaho. Rolland was the oldest of 8 children. He lived throughout Utah, Idaho and Oregon. He graduated from Logan High in 1975. He lived the last 20 years in special needs group apartments in Logan, Utah.
Rolland loved to swing, bowl, play basketball, watch TV and movies. Watching Movies and football with Rolland was an exciting experience, especially the Denver Broncos. He loved to sing in his happy, loud, off key voice, but most of all he loved his family, friends and staff from North Eastern Services who cared for him. He gave the best hugs and had an infectious laugh.
Rolland was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. He loved his Savior and always said, "Jesus has the power".
Rolland is survived by six sisters and one brother. Elizabeth (Greg) Jenkins, Rebecca (Tim) Painter, Michol (Keith) Abraham, Kathy (Kevin) Cram, Bruce Weiser, Christina (Ryan) Moore and Robyn (Blake) Anderson. 23 nieces and nephews and 48 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Reiser Toone Weiser and his father Paul Rolland Weiser, two nephews, Ryan Cram and Logan Goodrich.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28th at 11:00 a.m. in Providence South Sixth Ward, 262 Canyon Road, Providence, Ut. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
There will be a graveside at Elysian Gardens, 1075 East 4580 So, Millcreek, Ut. at 3:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
