Ronald Tibbitts Yeates

October 28, 1938 — April 27, 2008

BRIGHAM CITY, UTAH - Ronald (Rowdy) Tibbitts Yeates,
69, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 surrounded by
his children and loving family members, of natural
causes at The Salt Lake Regional Hospital.

He was born Oct. 28, 1938 In Logan, Utah to Melvin J.
and Dyrene T . Yeates.

He married Joan Wyatt, they were later divorced.

Ron was reared and educated in Logan Utah.
He worked in construction and truck driving for the
majority of his life.

He served in the armed forces as an airman recruit.

He had many passions in his life including fishing
with his best bud Brian, his kids, and grandchildren.
He was also an avid Cutter Racer in his younger years.
He loved and enjoyed the outdoors, and was an
enthusiastic Utah Jazz fan. He will always be
remembered for the love he had for his brothers.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later
Day Saints.

He is survived by children Mike (Lori) Yeates of
Brigham City, Brenda (Tyrone) Copeland of Garland,
Melanie (Tod) Wayment of Brigham City. Ronald Owen
Yeates of Garland, Brent (Keri) Yeates of Garland. He
leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren
4 brothers, Brian (Susan) Yeates of Brigham City,
David (Jan) Yeates of Wellsville, Kevin (Jackie)
Yeates of Logan, Keith (Vicki) Yeates of Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers,
and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, May
1 at Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in
Logan. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on
Wednesday, April 30 and from 9:30-10:30 am on Thursday
prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will be
in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences and thoughts
