Roxie P. Lindley

Roxie Lindley, 89 passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family on Monday September 16, 2013. She was born January 26 1924, to Jacob and Mary Postel. She married her lifetime partner and love of her life Gordon B Lindley and together raised 5 children.
Roxie and Gordon were married 64 years and together enjoyed their monthly trips to Wendover and family poker games. Roxie was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roxie is survived by her husband, daughter Carol Smith (Dale), Bonnie Judkins (Brad), Brent Lindley (Karlene), Roxane Scothern (Mike deceased), 15 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren, as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was blessed with her first great-great grandchild earlier this year
She was preceded in death by her son Dennis and his wife Diana, son-in-laws Rodney Howells and Mike Scothern, a grandchild , 3 great-grandchildren, her parents and siblings.
A viewing will be held from 11am to 1pm Friday September 20th at Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center St. Logan, for those who wish to say goodbye, followed by grave-side services at 2pm, at the Wellsville City cemetery.
