Ruby Alice Miller Seeholzer

April 16, 1912 — February 9, 2008

LOGAN, UTAH: Ruby Alice Miller Seeholzer, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 9, 2008 in Logan.
She was born in Newton, Utah April 16, 1912 to John Heber and Ida Alice Miller. After her mother died in 1915 she lived with grandparents until her father married Hazel Hunsaker. In1932 she married Ruben Seeholzer, (Boots) and has lived in Logan since. They had three children.
After raising her family Ruby worked for the school lunch program, and served leadership roles in the School Lunch Association. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers for 55 years.
Ruby's life has been one of selfless service to family, church, and neighbors. Whether serving in church or school, caring for elderly neighbors, or sharing garden produce, she was going about doing good. A legacy of faith, work, and compassion will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ruben, granddaughter Karen, sister Carol and brother Ray Miller.
Survivors are children: LuDean Howe (Gene), North Logan; Jerald (Thelma), Wellsville; Janice Williams (Dickson), Logan; 12 grandchildren, 44 great-grand children, and 3 great, great-grand children; sister Delores Collins of Globe, Arizona; and brother Cleon Miller of SLC.
Funeral services will be held at noon of Friday in the Logan 9th Ward Chapel, 125 E. 500 N., with Bishop Darren Perkes conducting. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Thursday at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center in Logan, and on Friday from 10:30 to 11 :30 at the church. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
