LOGAN-Rulon Keith Eames passed away on November 12, 2014 at the Sunshine Terrace. He was 83 years old.
Keith, as he was known by all, was born April 4, 1931 in Logan, Utah to Rulon Edwin Eames and Wyoma Dunn Eames.
He graduated from Logan High School in 1949 and attended Utah State Agricultural College.
Keith worked various jobs throughout his life. In his spare time, Keith loved to hang out “Where the Locals Eat” at Angie’s restaurant and spend time at the Logan Library reading. Keith touched the lives of those he was around with his tenderness, sense of humor and the many songs he sung. We love you and we will miss you!
He is survived by his brothers Glenn Eames and Ezra (Marsha) Eames, his sisters Marilyn (David) Baker, Arlene Burrows, and Wyoma Darlington and numerous nephews and nieces who love him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Marlene Eames and brother-in-law Richard Darlington.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the employees and patrons of Angie's Restaurant for their years of kindness to Keith and to the staff and residents of Sunshine Terrace for the generous love and care they gave to Keith and for becoming his second family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17 at the Allen Mortuary 34 East Center Street Logan, Utah, with a viewing held prior to the services at the same location from noon to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at
