Russell Lamonte Bee

August 18, 1935 — December 23, 2018

NORTH LOGAN--Russell LaMonte Bee, 83, passed away December 23, 2018.
Born August 18, 1935 in Georgetown, ID to John and Geneva Larsen Bee. Married Helen Stout, August 18, 1964 at the Salt Lake Temple.
He graduated from Montpelier High School in Idaho in 1953. He earned a BA at BYU and his MBA at GWU. He was in the US Army as active duty (1959-1961) and stationed in Berlin, Germany. He served until 1965 in the reserves.
He served as a missionary in Hong Kong from over three years (1955-1958) and a senior mission in St. Petersburg, Russia (1997-1998). He held many positions in the Church, including Stake Clerk and Counselor to the Bishop.
He volunteered many years as a tax advisor and preparer. He drove a school bus for Cache County after retiring from a long career as a supervisory accountant for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Survived by wife, Helen, children, Tamara Peterson (Lantz Peterson) of North Logan, UT, Monica Thompson (Paul Thompson) of Coral Springs, FL, Angela Bee (Tom Ziemba) of Haymarket, VA, Aaron Bee (Gracie Bee) of Fairfax, VA, and David Bee of North Logan, UT; sisters, Elaine Kropushek (Robert Kropushek) of Georgetown, ID and Barbara Brownell (Arthur Brownell) of Bountiful, UT. Preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and one son, Gordon Bee.
Funeral is 12 noon on December 28, 2018 at 1105 E. 2100 N., North Logan, UT 84341 and presided by Bishop Zane Rust. Viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 am. The burial will be later that day at North Logan Memorial Park & Cemetery.
