Ruth Dunkley Mallory

Ruth Dunkley Mallory was born in Salt Lake City, on March 19, 1922 to goodly parents, John Alexander Dunkley and Martha Isabell Hull. She passed away peacefully Sunday January 13, 2013. Ruth grew up in Logan, Utah. Her back door neighbor and playmate was Elder L. Tom Perry. She was a first cousin to President Ezra Taft Benson. Ruth graduated from Logan high school. While a senior in high school she met her husband, Ray Mallory (1916-2001). They married Nov 1, 1939 in the Logan Temple. They had 6 daughters Sandra (1942-2009) (Richard Biszantz), the twins, Pamela (Richard Stevenson) and Patricia (Lynn Robinson), Carol (David Sampson), Diana (Kenneth Dufur), and Martha (Rickey Raile). She is survived by 5 daughters, 40 grandchildren, and 55 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 19, 2013 at 1:30 pm in the Neff’s Canyon LDS Ward Chapel on 4176 S Adonis Dr. (3950 E.), Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. She will be buried at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. Mom, you will be greatly missed!
