In Loving Memory of Margaret Ruth Warby

Margaret "Ruth" Warby, passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 69 due to complications of Lewy Body Dementia. Born on March 28, 1955, Ruth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, whose life was a testament to kindness and service. Ruth died the same way she lived; emanating peace and love.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Nolan Warby, and their three daughters: Chantille Warby, Nicole Heaton, and Michelle (James) Phelps. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and a great-grandmother to two. Ruth is also survived by her two sisters, MaryLynn (Allen) Prows and Cleo Rust.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias Marion and Valoyce Cox, her in-laws Paul and Florian Warby, her brothers Leland and Sheldon Cox, her sister Leone Cox, and our beloved cat, Midnight.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ruth served in many capacities, including twice as the Relief Society President, a Primary Teacher, a Young Women's Leader, the Primary Chorister, and a Ministering/Visiting Teacher. She also served as a Girl Scout Leader and Cookie Coordinator for the Cache County Girl Scout Troops when her daughters were young. Her unwavering faith and dedication to serving others touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who knew her.

Ruth was employed at Kelly Services for a number of years, and retired from Workforce Services for the state of Utah after 11 years of service. She was also a member of SHRM.

Ruth’s kindness, love for others, and commitment to her family and community will forever remain in the hearts of those she left behind. She will be deeply missed but will continue to inspire through her example of charity.

Ruth's family, especially her husband Nolan, would like to thank the care and love that the staff of Sunshine Cares showed to Ruth in her final months.

A funeral service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street Logan, UT. Viewings will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 6-8pm and Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11am-12:30pm at the Mortuary.
