North Logan — Sandra Lou Jessop Schooley Lindquist returned home into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Sandy was born on March 11, 1947 to Marlow and June Jessop. She grew up in Millville and lived the small town farm life. There she gained a hard work ethic and a love of gardening and the outdoors that stayed with her all of her life.
She graduated from Sky View in 1965, and got married and moved to Ogden. Her first marriage blessed her with two beautiful daughters. She later divorced and her second marriage blessed her with two amazing sons, one who passed away at three months of age. She later divorced and moved back to Cache Valley. In 1983 Sandy married Tom Schooley, who became the father of all of her children and had two more children—a son and a daughter. She was sealed to her family in 1997 in the Logan LDS temple. She was a wonderful mother and found the greatest joy in her life through her family. Sandy was a survivor who endured many horrendous trials in her life. One of those trials was Tom passing away in 2009.
In 2011 she married her loving husband, Larry Lindquist, who had been her first boyfriend in high school. They had a lot of fun together and loved to go to their cabin in Idaho and fish and shoot at critters. They also had a ball going to many country concerts in Wendover.
Sandy loved traveling, camping, jewelry, antique dishes, playing games, dessert, and country music. She was very talented at crocheting and made many blankets and doilies that she gave away. She had an incredible green thumb and every house she lived in had beautiful flowers. She was possibly the most gifted fisher-woman there ever was. She will be greatly missed by her sweetheart and her many family and friends. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother: Marlow and June Jessop; her brothers: Baby Boy Jessop and Doug Jessop; two sons Ronnie and Rick Mickelson; and her husband: Thomas Schooley. She is survived by her husband: Larry Lindquist; daughters: Marjorie (Ron) Krambule, Cindy Henson, and Amber (Peter) Wiedmeier; and her son: Thomas Schooley Jr.; many grandchildren and one great- grandchild; her siblings: Marlene (Dean) Cooper, DeeAnn (Stan) Watts, and Gloria Buckingham.
The viewing will take place on Tuesday, July 29th at Allen Mortuary on 420 E 1800 N in North Logan, UT from 10:30-11:30 AM. A graveside service will be held afterward at 12 noon at the Logan Cemetery where there will be a reading of a life sketch and musical number. We would like to thank the Portneuf Medical Center for their phenomenal care of Sandy until she passed. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed online at
