Sara Anderson Freeman, formerly of Logan, passed away Monday, March 28th, 2016, of natural causes at age 91. Sara had been living in Ogden at the Manor Care facility for the last 6 years, a year after the death of her husband Lionel (Jack) Freeman. Sara and Jack were married on November 6th,1943, and on June 28th, 1963, solemnized their marriage in the Logan L.D.S. temple. They were married for 66 years, lived in Logan UT., and had 5 children. Jackie (Rick) Lehnhardt, Ogden UT, Gary (Lou) Freeman, Layton UT, Scott (Shauna) Freeman, Hyrum UT, Brent (LaNette) Freeman, South Weber UT, Joan (Murlyn) Orner, Pleasant View UT. Sara served as a waitress and co-owner of "Freeman's Kitchen Cafe" in Logan. She loved to bowl, and bowled on several leagues over the years. Sara loved a spic and span home and yard and worked diligently to make her yard and home pristine. She also had a green thumb and could grow house plants like a green house. Sara outlived 2 brothers and 5 sisters. She has 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jack, daughter Jackie, grandson Cory Francis, and grandson Justin Brent Freeman.
Viewing services will be held Sunday April 3rd, 6-8 pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan UT., and Monday April 4th, 11:30-12:30 pm. Graveside service and internment will be at the Logan City Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
