Sarah Van Zeben

September 16, 1925 — May 28, 2014

Sarah Beth Van Zeben passed away peacefully on May 28, 2014 at her home.
She was born on September 16, 1925 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada the first child of Seren
Melvin Olsen and Gladys Sarah Wright. While serving a LDS mission to Holland from 1947-
1949, Beth met Gerard B Van Zeben. Later, in Utah, Beth and Gerard Van Zeben began dating in Salt Lake City Utah. They were married in San Francisco California on April 7, 1951 and later
they were sealed in the Oakland Temple on October 16, 1971.
Beth grew up on a small farm on the plains of Alberta and had little. After Gerard was
released from the Military in 1954 they settled in San Mateo, CA and raised 4 children. They later moved to Midvale, Utah, and as their children left home, they moved to Providence Utah.
In Providence, Beth would serve 3 more missions with her husband for the LDS Church.
Beth is survived by her brother Glen Melvin Olsen and her 4 children Melvin, David, Becky and Juli.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Leita May and Marva June, her mother and father
and her husband, Gerard B Van Zeben.
Beth was very proud of her ancestors who came across the plains by handcart and in wagons and loved the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
