Sara Maughan Obray

LOGAN, UTAH: Sara Maughan Obray, 83, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 in Salt Lake City.
She was born November 25, 1923 in Wellsville, Utah a daughter of Elmer Nibley and Sara Veda Gunnell Maughan. She married Clark Obray on June 5, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple. He passed away in 1998. She graduated from South Cache High School. Sara worked at Harold Dance Brokerage in Logan for over 38 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a church employment service mission in Logan from 1992-93.
She is survived by two sons, Alan Maughan and Kerrie Obray, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Thomas Clark and Jana Schwartz Obray, Bountiful, eight grandchildren, one sister, Marie Wright. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carlyle, Harvey and Dean Maughan.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm in the Paradise Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Saturday from 10:30 - 11:15 am. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
