Scott Parker Covert

Scott Parker Covert at age 56, passed away July 5, 2018 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He was born August 21, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Freeman and Lona Covert.
He was married to Deborah Kay Cheney April 9, 1985 and was sealed June 23, 1994 in the Logan L.D.S Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, 2 great nephews, a niece, and a great niece.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kay Cheney Covert, Daughter Kendra Covert, 2 brothers, 4 sisters.
Scott was raised in southeastern Idaho. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He had held several positions in the L.D.S church.
Scott worked at TriMiller in Hyrum, Utah for nearly 14 years until it closed, and started employment at Lowers Foods, Inc. in 1996 and worked there until present.
Family would like to thank the staff at McKay Dee Hospital, EMT’s and Logan Hospital.
Funeral services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. A viewing will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan. Funeral services will take place Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Millville 3rd Ward Chapel, 110 North Main in Millville, with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Millville Cemetery.
