Scott G Harris

April 25, 1957 — December 24, 2010

Scott Glade Harris, 53 died December 24, 2010. He passed away peacefully at home with his loving dog, Snowball, by his side. He was born April 25, 1957 in Logan, Utah, to Glade Orson Harris and Dorothy Winget Harris.

He graduated from Logan Sr. High School in 1975. He worked for many years as a printing press operator and typesetter. He worked as a restaurant chef. He also sold cars. He loved sports and played baseball, basketball, and golf. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Amy (Mick) Sharp of Smithfield, UT; David (Ashley) Furuya and Bryant (Andrea) Furuya, both of Ogden, UT; Tawny Harris, Brady Harris, Marissa Harris; all of CA; Stepchildren—Lauren Haymore, Andrew Haymore, and Tara Haymore of CA; and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Sherry (Todd) Olsen of Bellevue, NE; Cindy (Larry) Cutler of Arcadia, CA; Dixie (Dave) Gardner of Kemmerer, WY; and Vicky Harris of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Logan City Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many kind thoughts and deeds at this time.
