Seth Gates

Our sweet Seth Raymond Gates was welcomed by his special angels on Dec. 30, 2013. Seth was born May 16, 1992 in Logan, Utah. He joined the Gates family when he was 4 months old. He was loved and spoiled by his parents, brothers, sisters, and many friends and relatives. He was also blessed with wonderful step-parents, George Ray and Vicky Gates. To know Seth was to love him! His immediate and extended family couldn’t have loved him more.
Despite his many physical limitations he was a happy and loving boy. He loved rough housing and his laugh was contagious. Seth never complained and always endured the ups and downs like a trooper.
Many thanks to his friends and teachers at the many schools he attended. He enjoyed their interaction and missed them when they had a vacation.
Much appreciation to his Doctors and Medical Staff at the Logan Regional and Primary Children’s Hospital.
He is survived by his parents Bruce and Vicky Gates, Tauna and George Ray. Siblings are Kandyce (Curtis) Stander, Michael (Wendy) Baldwin, Collin (Heather) Gates, Timery (Michael) Reis, Kyler (Layzianne) Gates, and Mason Gates (Charissa). Step brothers and sisters are Daniel (Osiris) Ray, Kristina Merrill and Kaylie Young. Grandparents , Jim and Carol Jean Beesley, Leon and Dorothy Gates, and Raymond Bailey. He has many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins that adore him.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma Dorene Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2013 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 12:00 PM.
