Sharon Eggleston

Millville — MILLVILLE - Sharon Mary Bullock Eggleston, 73, passed away October 1, 2013.
Born September 18, 1940 in Logan, Utah to Gayle LaMar and Hannah Fern Monson Bullock. Sharon attended elementary school in Millville grades one through eight. She graduated from South Cache High School in 1958. She attended Utah State University for one year.
She married John Vendon Eggleston at the Millville Church on May 29, 1965. They had two children, Vendon Eugene and Kenneth LaMar Eggleston. Her husband John passed away on her birthday, September 18, 1976. She was a strong lady who spent the rest of her life focused on raising her two boys.
She volunteered at Millville Elementary and later was hired to be an aide. She then took a job as secretary at River Heights Elementary school for many years. She loved having a job where she could have the same hours as her boys. She retired in June 2003. She spent her
time traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many different callings over the years. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Survived by her sister LuDean Larsen, sons Gene(Stephanie) Eggleston and Ken (Laynette) Eggleston, three granddaughters and four grandsons. Preceded in death by husband John Eggleston, parents LaMar and Fern Bullock, and brother Bob Bullock.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, Oct. 7 at the Millville Church, 100 South 100 East, Millville. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday evening at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St. in Logan and from 10-10:30 AM prior to services at the church on Monday.
