Sheryl Stoker

August 24, 1955 — April 1, 2012

LOGAN - Sheryl Stoker continued her eternal progression on April 1st, 2012, re-uniting with friends and family in the heavenly world.
It was no secret that Sheryl’s “two cute kids” were her greatest joy in life. Being a single mom wasn’t easy, but she made sure her children always knew they were loved and came before anything else. Although she will be dearly missed, her family is excited for her to enjoy a better existence and glorious new journey.
Sheryl taught school for many years, touching lives and making friendships, most recently at Willow Valley Middle School. The LDS church was also an important part of Sheryl’s life. She served a mission in Adelaide, Australia in her 20’s. She was called on a second mission 4 years ago when her life-long dream of singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir came true. The new friends, the beautiful music, and the joy of sharing the gospel through music were great strengths to her.
Sheryl will continually be felt in the friendships she made and lives she touched. She will forever be heard in the music of the tabernacle choir. She will always be seen in the smile of her grand-baby, Adelaide, and she will eternally live on in her two children, Evan (Katie) and Whitney, and her supportive, loving family which include: Her parents, Lynn and Ruth Stoker, siblings; Theron (Fran) Stoker, David (Helen) Stoker, Darrell Stoker, Marie (Nathan) Eldredge, Brian (Ramsi) Stoker, and is now re-united with her dear brother Kenneth and sister Karleen.
Sheryl and her family have heartfelt gratitude for the love and service given by friends, neighbors, ward members, and school associates both before and during her illness. This has been an example of true Christ-like love.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 7th at the Logan East Stake Center, 1450 East 1500 North in Logan. Friends may call at the Stake Center on Saturday morning from 11:00am till 11:45am. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
