Stewart A. Lower

AMALGA, UT - Stewart A. Lower, age 91 of Amalga, passed away on Friday, May 27th at his home in Amalga.
Born On July 21, 1919 at his parents home in Amalga, Utah. He died on May 27th 20 II. He was the second son of five children born to Richard and Laura Hillyard Lower. Stewart loved the land and animals. He was a farmer in Amalga and always had a herd of milk cows. He was a hard worker and a good friend to his neighbors. He was Always willing to lend a helping hand when he could. He was employed by Lynn's Trout farm for over 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Stewart married Vema Broby on November 10, 1942. They have two children-Vincent Lower of Logan, Utah and Veloy Hansen of Millville, Utah. He has numerous grandchildren and great-grand children. Stewart and Vema have lived their whole-married life of69 years in Almaga.
He passed away in his home as he wished. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters. Richard (Fay) Lower, Val Lower, Delone Johnson, Vearl Lower (child), and a great gradson. We would like to thank Hospice especially Lisa Mitchell, and Alisa Jensen for the loving care they gave Stewart.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 1:00 PM at the Smithfield City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
