Tamra Jean Edwards Yeates of Logan Utah died Monday May 9th, 2011 after a valiant lifetime of battling mental illness. Tamra was born on October 6, 1942 in Preston, Idaho. The daughter of Clarence (Casey) amd Helen L. Edwards. She was the sixth of 9 children.
She graduated from Logan High School. She married Brian T. Yeates on March 10th, 1961. They later solemnized their marriage in the Logan LDS Temple. Then were later divorced. Tamra and Brian had 2 children Casey Brian and Lesa Yeates Herrera. She was involved and thoroughly enjoyed horses and racing.
Tamra worked at Grants Pharmacy for a time. She had fond memories of her time there until the day she died.
She will be very missed by her children and grandchildren. Tamra is survived by her sisters Fran (Tup) Fackrell, Sharon (Richard) Andrus, Marquita (Paul) Dicks, Vickie (Cordell) Hansen and one brother Mike (Carol) Edwards,her children, grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ted, Doug and Jack.
Cremation under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net . Graveside services will be held at the Whitney Cemetery in Whitney, Idaho at noon on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Family and friends are invited to attend.
