Terry Barnett

June 9, 1942 — February 23, 2013

North Logan, Utah- Terry Kay Barnett, 70, passed away on February 23, 2013, following a head-on collision on Valley View Highway. He was born on June 9, 1942 in Logan Utah and was the son of Geraldine Virginia Peterson and Olean Charles Barnett. He married Patricia Weeks on June 18, 1970, in Logan.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an LDS mission in the East Central States mission.
Terry served his country in both the Air Force and the Army Reserves. He worked for many years at Utah State University, and for Watkins Printing of Logan, as well as a local water master.
Above all, Terry was a loving father, husband and friend who delighted in serving others. He is survived by his wife Patricia Weeks Barnett; two sons, Eric Barnett of Logan, Utah, Dana Barnett of Chester, Idaho; three daughters, Michelle Brower of Providence, Utah, Heather Barnett of Logan, Utah, and Tiffany Barnett of North Logan, Utah; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Barnett of Enoch, Utah, Kim Barnett of Preston, Idaho; two sisters, Barbara Watterson of Benson, Utah, and Kami Reyes of Beaver Dam, Arizona.
A visitation will be held at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan (420 East 1800 North, North Logan, UT) on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, as well as on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the North Logan Stake Center from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the North Logan Stake Center (2750 North 800 East, North Logan, UT) at 11 AM.
