Thomas Michael Hale

Thomas Hale of Hyde Park passed away at his home Sep.20,2016. Tom was born in Idaho Falls to John and Wyoma Hale.
Tom married Jeanie Mikkelsen on Nov 10, 1961 and many years later they divorced.
Tom had 5 children all of which he loved and was very proud of. He enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them.
He married Jan Clark May 1, 1999. At this time his children doubled and he was also very proud of his step children. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS temple on August 24, 2007.
He was a hard worker and enjoyed being productive. He had a talent of working with wood and loved so much to see a piece he had made just for you in your home. His sense of humor was strong and he always tried to break tension with a joke.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved watching them play sports, dance, or whatever their hobby may be.
Some of his jobs included working at the Blue bird, Baugh Motor, Logan City Cemetery, Union Pacific, USU, and Davis Auto Center.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a strong testimony. He served in many callings.
He is survived by his wife Jan Hale, his children Jeana Downs, Tom (Ali) Hale, Mike (Lori) Hale, Rachel (Drew) Israelsen, Wendy (Terry) Smith, Thomas (Cassee) MacElwee, Aaron (Ashley) MacElwee, Tina (Cade) Denney, Heather (Ben) Clark, Arielle (Jorge) Batres, 28 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and his mother in-law. He was preceeded in death by his parents John and Wyoma Hale, father in law Delbert Clark, his brother John Hale, and his son in-law Ronald Downs.
A viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary 420 East 1800, North Logan on Sunday, September 25 from 6-8 pm, and at the LDS church located at 480 North 100 West, Hyde Park on Monday, September 26 from 9:30-10:30 am. Funeral services will start at 11:00 am followed by graveside services at the Hyde Park Cemetery.
