Tim passed away at the Huntsman Cancer Inst, after a long, difficult battle with a rare form of cancer.
He was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in 1969; and immediately joined the Navy.
He spent the next 20 years traveling the world as a signalman. Tim met his wife Lois in San Diego and they were married for 38 years. Tim loved music and entertaining and made a living doing so for the last 5 years, traveling to Salt Lake and Tooele, and performing all over Cache Valley. Tim felt privileged to use his talents to lift the spirits of others and, through the power of music bring back happy memories.
Tim is survived by his eternal companion Lois, daughter Heather (Kyle) Perkns and son Tim (Aron) Holwig Jr.
Also by his six grandchildren: Thomas, Nathan and Elizabeth Perkins and Simon, Mason and Wren Holwig.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the North Logan 8th Ward Chapel, 2540 North 400 East. A viewing will be on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Allen Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan and at the Church on Saturday from10-11:15 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the North Logan Memorial Park & Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to pay his funeral expenses.
