Todd D. Holden

March 7, 1968 — February 25, 2012

Todd Donald Holden

Todd D. Holden (age 43), formerly of Tremonton and Logan, Utah, died unexpectedly of undetermined causes at his home in Willard, Utah, and was found February 25, 2012. Todd was born March 7, 1968, in Ogden, Utah, the first of twin sons born to Ann Craw (Galvez, Holden) Brown and Donald T. Galvez.

Todd was raised in Tremonton and Logan, Utah. He was a life-long member of the LDS Church. He attended Bear River and Logan High Schools, graduating from Logan in 1986. He worked for Cache Valley Dairy for over ten years, progressing to Sanitation Supervisor. Todd struggled with much more than his fair share of mental and physical health issues, as well as addiction. Despite his challenges, Todd was a really good person and cared about the feelings of others. Todd had a special gift of being able to lift the spirits of those who were depressed or otherwise not feeling good about themselves.

Todd was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and attended a Super Bowl; he knew all the statistics from the beginning of the franchise. He also enjoyed movies, the Utah Jazz, and walking. Todd never married but always hoped he might eventually be able to do so and have children. He loved his dogs--most were Black Labs--and he considered them his children.

Todd was a member of the LDS Church and had a strong testimony. We believe Todd is now in a peaceful, joyous place with his beloved Grandpa Wayne and his three dogs, Sox, Buddy, and Sissy. We will truly miss him and his great sense of humor. We will love him always and never forget what an important part of our family he was.

Todd is survived by his dogs, Shadow and Snap; his mother and step-father, Ann Craw Brown and Daniel Kent "Charlie" Brown, of Ogden; his sister, ShaRelle Nelson, of Garland; his twin brother, Troy Wayne Holden, of Ogden; his maternal grandmother (with whom he had a special bond), Beth Allen Craw, of St. George; his Uncle Gary (Claudia) Craw of Meridian, Idaho; his Aunts Marcia Craw (Daryl) Moss (with whom he was extra close) and Jan Craw (Mike) Cain, both of St. George; as well as many Craw family cousins. He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews: Ginger Udy, Brittany Udy Williams, Rustin Udy, Trevor Udy, Hallie Beth Nelson, Addi Nelson, Brayden Holden, and Casandra Holden. Additionally, Todd is survived by his birth father, Donald T. (Nancy) Galvez of Ogden, and numerous Galvez aunts, uncles, and cousins; He is also survived by his adoptive father, Nathan E. "Pete" Holden, of Elwood, Utah.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandfather, H. Wayne Craw, and grandparents, Fred and Flossie Galvez.

Funeral Services for Todd will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2nd, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah.
