Logan: Tommy Joe Anderson, 62, entered into the arms of a loving heavenly father on October 13, 2009, from complications of diabetes. He passed away at Pioneer Care Center in Brigham City, UT.
Born on August 1, 1946, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Lelia Ether Siler and Charles Boston Anderson and was their only child. He was married to Melissa Jane Wright and sealed in the temple in 1974. Tommy graduated from Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tennessee and retired from the Air Force in 1995.
Survived by his wife, Melissa Jane, their elder son Michael Thomas Anderson of Providence, Utah and wife (RaeAnn Webb of Paris, Idaho) and five grandchildren: Makenzie Lee, Jacob Thomas, Abby Rae, Nathan Tyler and Reagan Parker. Survived by their daughter, Elizabeth Siler Loosli of Smithfield, Utah and her husband (Jared Todd Loosli of Ucon, Idaho) and four grandchildren: Whitnee Jane Whitmore, Landon Ryan Whitmore, Dylan Todd Loosli and Ashton Scott Loosli. Survived by their younger son, David Benjamin Anderson of Logan and two grandchildren Carter Jon Anderson and Boston Tommy Anderson.
His funeral and viewing will be held at the Cliffside Ward at 1350 E. 25 North in Logan. The Viewing will begin at 12:00 and the funeral will begin at 1:00 on Friday, the 16th of October. Allen Hall Mortuary at 1800 N. North Logan, Utah, will handle the service. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery.
