Tracy Peart

February 22, 1963 — January 26, 2012

Tracy Kim Peart
1963-2012
The evening of Sunday, February 26, 2012, our beloved son, loving father, brother and uncle departed his earthly existence into the arms of his Heavenly Father. Tracy was born February 22, 1963, in Provo, Utah. His parents are Charles Dennis Peart and Marilyn K. High Peart of Nibley, Utah.
He attended the American School in Japan, as well as schools in Hawaii, Virginia, Maryland and Santa Maria California. He sharpened his welding skills at Bridgerland.
Tracy loved the ocean and surfing. When he’d drive through Logan Canyon he would point out his favorite fishing spots. He was an expert welder and took great pride in doing a good job, no matter who he was working for. He loved to work and was employed with Icon at the Smithfield operation/plant. Another of his passions was music and he had a vast knowledge of musical groups and musicians. He had met a number of them and got to chat with them too; one of them was Neil Peart from “RUSH.” People often asked him if he was related to the drummer (which made him smile.) He was a loyal and avid Raiders football fan and stuck with them even if they were having a lousy season. Mom was a “Cheesehead Packer” fan, so it was fun to watch Packers vs. Raiders if and whenever they played.
In 1994 he married Marianne Domery; they later divorced. In August 1995 they were blessed with a daughter, Miranda, whom he considered the light of his life. Tracy was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii.
Tracy had many friends and acquaintances. He was an easy-going guy and got along with young and old alike; he had a pleasant personality with some wit and humor usually added.
He is sorely missed by his parents, daughter, Miranda, brother Adam (Natalie) of Seattle, WA, and sisters Laura and Stephanie of Lakeside, CA and Tally (Kelly) Hansen of Murietta, CA, Jane’ of Nibley, UT, Kim (Howard) Nivison of Richmond, UT, Robin (Keith) Anderson of Weston, ID, Heidi (Dave) Panciera of Bradford, RI, and his grandmother, Caroline High of Gresham, WI as well as numerous aunts and uncles, five nieces: Sidney, Taylor, Mackenzie, Chole, and Grace; and three nephews: Randy, Cole, and Tate.
There is no viewing; he wished to be remembered as he had been; no burial service. There will be a short memorial service for family and friends Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 12:00 noon at the LDS Church at 3200 South 360 West in Nibley, Utah.
