Travis James Weston
February 6, 1975 - September 25, 2018
Travis James Weston, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and beloved soul to so many, passed away Sept. 25, 2018.
Travis was one in a million - not like anyone else on this earth. His death will be grieved by many. He was a gentle giant. He was the thread that wove so many people together. He had a tender heart and was kind to everyone. He was a friend to all. Super easygoing and the most witty person you ever encountered, he was genuine, kind and caring. If you needed anything he was there to provide it, especially laughs. He was so much fun.
He had many different talents like giving the perfect nickname to you and things (like his bandana - Antonio Bandera, which you would never see him without). He also was an animal and baby whisperer, which he wouldn't admit to anyone.
He loved music, and it was rare that you would be in a car with him and not feel like you were in a dance club. He brought people together. He gave a lot of us a safe place, a home that accepted them for who they really were. Good or bad.
He loved his boys and his momma with all of his heart. He was loyal, empathetic and creative. He loved being outdoors and spending time fishing, camping and riding dirt bikes. He also loved his work and was respected by the many people who he worked with as a landscape designer.
Travis didn't realize that he was a beacon of light for a lot of souls and that he warmed so many people's spirits by his loving and giving heart. There will never be anyone who can replace Travis. Many hearts are broken by this terrible loss. We will all forever be missing the master link in the chain.
Travis is survived by his sons Jaxon James Weston and Dallas Dave Weston; his best friend Brandi Olmstead,; stepmother Gaye Weston; brother Fred (Sharon) Weston; sisters Becky (Daryl) Pugmire, Cheri (Rick) Jameson, Tracy (Scott) Munson; nieces and nephews Angela (Mike) Mast, Kathy (Pat) Orr, Tricia (Tom) Reinhold, Cassie (Brian) Anderson, Sara (Jeff) Norris, Crystal (Shay) Farnsworth, Breanna (Chase) Barnes, Kierra Weston, Sirius Munson, Nile Munson and India Munson; and his dog Reno. He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Pat Weston and Bernice (dog).
