Tyler Scott Burgin

January 24, 1984 — December 20, 2022

Our larger than life husband, father, son, brother, uncle & dear friend to many died tragically on December 20, 2022. Tyler leaves behind his earthly pride & joy, his beautiful bride Brittany Burgin, his children, Caden & Kenzie, Drake, Zayden, Teagen, Zoe & their little Lyla. Tyler was a devoted family man through & through & took great joy in leading his special family. He was a lover of all things music. From pianos to bagpipes, ukuleles to vocals, he was a very skilled & talented musician. His home was always filled with music which was a family affair & of course, barking Corgis.

Tyler was a spiritual man with a deep & profound relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ. Tyler took every opportunity to testify of his great faith in Him. He will be sincerely missed but there is no doubt he will be rooting for us as he awaits us on the other side!

He enjoyed making fun new meals, all things outdoors & aviation, memorable trips with his family & had a unique natural ability to excel at anything he put his heart into.

After graduating high school, Tyler followed his love of helicopters all the way to Afghanistan where he honorably served in the US Army. After returning home, he found another skill, this time in business, where he eventually became a successful entrepreneur. He often tried to share that knowledge to the people he cared about most. Tyler & his family began the journey of self-reliance on land they dubbed Corgizstan. Learning how to process poultry and raise his own livestock, his family and friends grew a new admiration and reverence for the blood, sweat and tears involved in food production.

He is survived by his siblings, Mike, Dustin, Megan (Tyler), Aaron (Shanae), Katie (Ryan), Rachel, Paige & his parents Leslie & Mike Stevens.

He was preceded in death by his little brother Scotty & a wide array of friends.
