Una Yvonne Wilde Murphy, age 73, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. She was born February 16th, 1943 in Coalvile UT to Jett Wilde and Dorothy Leola Moore Wilde. She was the 2nd to the oldest of seven girls. Una and Frank were married August 29, 1959, in SLC UT. They were married for 57 years.
There is nothing she loved more than her family, and was the most selfless woman you could ever meet. She loved to crochet, take care of her lambs, and cats. She was very active in 4-H, she was a leader in Crochet and taught many kids over the years. She would sew lamb covers and donate to 4-H kids. She was a wonderful cook, and would teach anyone willing to learn. Anything she set her mind too she achieved. She taught her family the love of animals from the time they were born.
Una is survived by her Husband Frank L Murphy, Son, Dean (Melanie) Murphy and daughters, Debra Glenn, Dedee (Robert) Blanchard, and Dianna (Dennis) Smith, 11 grandchildren and 9 great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 7th, 2016, at 12:00pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary 34 E. Center, Logan. There will be a viewing from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday evening, also at Allen-Hall Mortuary and Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am prior to services. Interment will be in the Millville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Allen Hall Mortuary. The family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Care Hospice & Facility for taking such great care of our mom.
