Valoie Eva Allred Albrecht
Valoie loved life and loved her family dearly. She was born in Hyrum Utah on the 21st of June 1922 to John Egdar Allred and Elizabeth Francis Israelsen Allred. Her life marked all of those she met with her enthusiasm and compassion. She married Willy Albrecht on the 9th of August 1948. Valoie returned to her heavenly father on 27 August 2012 surrounded by loving members of her family.
There was never a dull moment for Valoie as she applied her imagination and ingenuity to every project she tackled. She will long be remembered for her wit and wisdom.
Valoie served her country during World War II maintaining and repairing aircraft parts at Hill Air Field. Later she continued her community service by spending countless hours of volunteer service at the Hyrum City Museum. She was recognized for her service by Hyrum City as the Distinguished Citizen in 1993 and by the State of Utah as Volunteer of the Year in 1999.
Valoie is survived by her six children, Ivan Kip Albrecht, Dwight Allred Albrecht (Cynthia), Ann Elizabeth Bolinder (Vern), Bruce Emil Albrecht (Cleo), Eva Jensen, and Marie Albrecht (Joel Abernathy). Many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and in laws.
Funeral service will be held Saturday September 1, 2012 at 11:00am at Allen Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center. Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday evening from 6 to 8pm and Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30am. Internment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
